Randall Garrison Question to Minister on Addressing Self-Harm in the Military

Question Period

Randall Garrison, Member of Parliament for Esquimalt - Saanich - Sooke and the NDP Critic for National Defence asked the Government during Question Period today to take action on addressing the epidemic of self-harm within the Canadian Armed Forces by passing Private Members' Bill C-426 to remove section 98(c) of the National Defence Act which removes self-harm as a disciplinary offence. This government must act to remove barriers to mental health access for our serving women and men.
