RANDALL GARRISON QUESTION TO PRIME MINISTER ON BILL C-66

Question Period

Randall Garrison, MP for Esquimalt - Saanich - Sooke and the NDP Critic for LGBTQ2+ Issues rose during Question Period on November 29, 2017 to ask the Prime Minister to commit to passing Bill C-66 before the Holiday break.

"Today's historic apology is a result of decades of courageous struggle by the LGBTQ2 community. People were charged with crimes, fired from jobs & dishonourably discharged simply because of who they loved. Their resilience in the face of this outrageous injustice is inspirational." (Jagmeet Singh, Leader of Canada's New Democrats)
